About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Asset Management department, with a focus on the South Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial success of a significant portfolio of renewable energy assets, including wind, solar, and battery storage. This role involves managing all commercial and contractual obligations, providing leadership to a team of Asset Managers, and ensuring the optimization of asset performance in line with the company's mission and objectives. The VP will also be instrumental in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with industry guidelines and regulations.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being a plus, and a minimum of 12 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. The role requires a strong background in asset management, technical expertise, and a proven track record in building strategic relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to translate technical information into commercial implications. Proficiency in market arrangements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make independent decisions in a dynamic environment are essential. The VP should be proactive, and motivated, and demonstrate a desire to learn about the company and the renewables space.
