Job Description:
We're seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join our Downtown Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will support the Family Law Practice Group, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, efficiency in high-volume environments, and proactive task management. Requirements include a minimum of three years of experience, proficiency in reading and organizing financial documents (e.g., tax returns, bank statements), among other responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily time entry
- Assist in drafting legal documents (e.g., pleadings, motions, discovery)
- Input data into file database
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries
- Review and coordinate document productions
- Interact with parties, counsel, and respond to inquiries
- Prepare for meetings, hearings, depositions, and trials
- E-file documents and ensure follow-up on filings
- Manage information through firm databases (e.g., MS Word, Excel, i-Manage)
