Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of employment law matters, including wage and hour disputes, whistleblowing, discrimination cases, and class actions.
- Manage a diverse caseload, providing comprehensive legal support and strategic counsel to both defense and plaintiff cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and engage in effective communication with clients and opposing counsel.
- Participate actively in depositions, court appearances, and other litigation proceedings as necessary.
- Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in caseload management while fostering collaborative relationships within the firm.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 2-5 years of California employment law experience.
- Hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Showcase strong academic credentials and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with business disputes, wage and hour claims, and class actions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of our cohesive team.
