Talent Discovery and Engagement:

  • Uncover hidden gems in the talent pool by sourcing and recruiting passive candidates through a variety of platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn and other strategic networks.
  • Craft compelling outreach messages to capture the attention and interest of top-tier candidates.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure our agency's unique value proposition is effectively communicated to potential candidates.

Candidate Screening and Evaluation:

  • Screen and assess applicants for current and future positions, evaluating their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Utilize innovative screening techniques to identify candidates who align with our agency's vision and goals.
  • Showcase your ability to understand the nuances of the digital marketing landscape and identify candidates who can thrive in this dynamic industry.

Interview Coordination and Experience:

  • Take the lead in scheduling and organizing interviews, balancing both in-person and video conference formats, catering to our geographically diverse teams in NY and LA.
  • Provide candidates with a seamless and memorable interview experience, reflecting our commitment to excellence from the very first interaction.

Collaborative Partnership:

  • Foster a strong partnership with leadership and hiring managers to comprehensively understand team needs and evolving priorities.
  • Deliver weekly candidate and role status updates to ensure transparency and alignment, allowing for agile decision-making.

Innovating Recruitment Strategy:

  • Be a thought leader in recruitment marketing, contributing to the development and launch of innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Showcase your creativity by devising engaging recruitment campaigns that resonate with candidates and position our agency as an employer of choice.

Systems Management:

  • Maintain an up-to-date applicant tracking system and manage external job posting sites, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.

Candidate Experience Excellence:

  • Champion a best-in-class candidate experience by ensuring a smooth and engaging journey from application to the final interview stage.
  • Showcase your empathetic and customer-focused approach to candidates, leaving a lasting positive impression.
 

What You’re Bringing 

  • 2 years of Recruiting & Hiring experience and working knowledge of talent management and applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience with high volume, fast paced recruiting, preferably in a digital marketing agency or tech setting.
  • Proactive, go-getter approach with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, and strong organizational skills.
  • Deadline oriented attitude and ability to identify and problem solve quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time efficiently
  • A positive attitude and are able to easily build relationships across all functions.
  • A true team player, eager to support the People & Culture department and Direct Agents

This role is a hybrid, in-office based role in our NYC office. You must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.

At Direct Agents, hybrid is about:

  • A competitive salary $75,000 - $85,000 with potential for recruitment bonuses
  • Regular performance reviews occur at 1, 3, 6, 11 month marks during onboarding and biannually after that.
