We're looking for a passionate, hands-on leader to partner with the owners and General Manager in the operation and growth of Dilworth Car Wash ("DCW").

The Assistant General Manager ("AGM") will report to our General Manager and help oversee daily operations including staffing, equipment maintenance, customer satisfaction, basic financial reporting, marketing, and growth initiatives. We are excited to find somebody eager to grow a local, small business and are happy to invest in his or her development. Limited financial and corporate experience is OK, but the AGM will need excellent interpersonal skills to successfully work with customers and team members.

Training and development are integral aspects of this opportunity. As such, the role will require some travel to our other locations across the Carolinas (all within driving distance). It is our ultimate goal to promote the AGM and increase his or her managerial scope.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure DCW remains the most popular full-service car wash in the South End, Uptown, Dilworth, Myers Park, Eastover area through rigorous quality control and a customer-first culture
• Be a player-coach, working as cashier when needed and on customer vehicles including prep, hand washes, and details
• Regular quality control and employee feedback
• Retain (and invest in) existing team members. Hire new employees as needed
• Help facilitate regular equipment inspections (and repairs, as needed)
• Help manage all other daily operations (e.g., chemical ordering and competitive bidding)
• Open and close the wash and complete required oversight.

Compensation will include salary, commissions and bonuses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
