The Barista 22 Sales Representative position is ideal for an experienced salesperson with a deep understanding of retail operations and product distribution. This position demands expertise in specialty coffee and a continuous commitment to industry knowledge and consumer trends. The successful candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and organized, capable of securing new accounts both locally and nationally. Responsibilities include independently sourcing business through cold calling, following up on leads from coffee shows, and managing online and email inquiries under the guidance of a supervisor. A natural, engaging personality, coupled with creativity and resourcefulness, are essential qualities for this role.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Robust specialty coffee background with knowledge of food service and related business is preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to self-manage and a flexible working ability. Must be an independent thinker that possesses strong teamwork, detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, as well as strong planning and problem-solving skills. Persistence is key in this position, even when turned down frequently. Extensive computer skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must have a valid WA State Driver’s License and dependable insured vehicle.
