As Senior Data Analyst, you will sit on The Applied Data & Insights team and utilize advanced analytics to help guide strategic decision making across multiple business units. Successful candidates will bring an iterative, experimentation mindset underpinned with advanced SQL and modeling skills, storytelling using visualization tools, and the ability to write and troubleshoot scripting languages. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Draw strategic conclusions via in-depth analysis of both quantitative and qualitative datasets, effectively presenting findings to stakeholders from peer to executive level Use and develop visualizations to tell the data-driven story of your unique, actionable insights and strategic recommendations Use advanced tools and techniques to enrich, segment and cohort datasets, including engagement, demographic, psychographic and geographic attributes Evaluate complex data-driven business problems and hypotheses using advanced analytics, statistical and predictive methods, including feature selection, principal component analysis, model building, clustering, segmentation, forecasting, NLP, regressions, classifications, LTV, survival/retention and time series methods. Evaluate analytical outcomes and recommendations using experimental design methodology, sampling methods, and statistical frameworks Extract and interpret variables derived from multiple data sources using pre-processing/cleansing techniques, auditing, outlier detection and quality control Develop and maintain documentation while instituting best practices for broader use within the analytics team Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, product, sales, and finance Mentor junior analysts, participate and collaborate within analytics chapter meetings Champion innovation, growth and analytics maturity across the enterprise WHAT YOU WILL NEED SQL experience including use of analytic functions in Redshift, BigQuery, Athena, AWS, MS SQL or equivalent Experience in advanced analytics and modeling utilizing Python, R or equivalent Experience with Tableau, Looker or equivalent reporting and visualization tools Google Analytics experience Familiarity with a high volume, multi-touch, multi-channel digital business model Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability and desire to mentor NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER Experience in the digital publishing and/or broadcasting industry Marketing domain and user funnel experience, including CRM, DMP, CDP, GA, DV360, paid social/digital advertising campaigns, and attribution datasets. #LL-KD1 #LL-HYBRID Learn more about Fox Tech at https://tech.fox.com #foxtech We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $73,000.00-86,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
