Remote Assignment
Work that involves the analysis, mining, and presentation of data to provide statistical, operational, auditing, and other business insights with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision-making purposes.
Essential Job Functions:
- Formulates and/or fulfills requests for data
- Analyzes data models and structures to identify uses, relationships, and dependencies
- Determines cause and effect of data anomalies and provides recommendations for procedural or programmatic resolutions
- Develops test plans and cases for validating the integrity of data
- Creates and executes data queries (SQL Server developer skills)
- Designs and develops reports, data extracts, and dashboards using report building and other business intelligence tools with Power BI.
- Ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of data analysis services.
Minimum Qualifications :
Knowledge of and skill applying:
- Data modeling concepts, principles, and methods
- Data mining, aggregation, and warehousing principles; and SQL Server development experience
- Ability to plan and execute projects individually and as part of a team.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient with Power BI
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
