Job description:

• SME in APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE OPDK Operations, Implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, management.
• SME should be APIGEE Platform expert not as a User.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in the API Management and Gateway space (Mainly Apigee Hybrid and Apigee OPDK)
• Good Unix Shell Scripting , Ansible Experience is must.
• CI/CD experience (set up of CI/CD desirable)
• Cloud experience with API Gateway and micro-services (preferably AWS)
• Extensive hands-on experience in Open Shift, Kubernetes.
• Experience with high availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee.
• Lead Capacity Planning and Management activities to ensure that the Apigee platform will be able to handle current and additional transactions in the future.
• Lead root cause analysis session to understand Production issues and produce solutions that will prevent them from happening in the future.
• Excellence communication skills, written and oral experienced with leading and supporting a team of developers including training them in APIGEE Platform.
• Displays mastery in analytical thought, imaginative inquiry, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Analyses incidents, coordinates with application owners to help troubleshoot and fix issues related to the APIGEE platform.
• Join working sessions to solve technical problems faced by the application teams trying to onboard to APIGEE Gateway.
• Provide root cause analysis to understand cause of issues and provide solutions that will prevent them from happening in the future.
• Ensures adherence to SLAs by resolving tickets. Performs system health checks and reports anomaly.
• Setup and manage Apigee cluster distributed between data centers.
• Provide on-call support for Apigee platform.
