QlikSense Administrator / Developer

Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a QlikSense Administrator / Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full Time (Regular) Exempt (Salary) position with a hybrid work location in Patuxent River, MD 20670 and telework. Therefore, candidates need to be within a ~90-minute commute of Patuxent River, MD 20670. On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD with initial training/assimilation mostly virtual, but may require occasional onsite visits during the first few weeks. Candidate must be on-site at Patuxent River, MD 20670 every Wednesday for training, collaboration, and meetings.
Where Technology, Innovation, and Collaboration come together... The qualified candidate will become part of DESI's IT Services Group supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in a wide range of leading-edge Information Technology products and services within the Naval Aviation Enterprise.

ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using QlikSense.
Manage user access; create streams; create, manage, and clean up tasks.
Gather reporting, dashboard, and metric requirements from customers and stakeholders.
Create/modify existing dashboards per customer requests.
Assist with technical and user documentation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:

High School diploma or GED is required.
AA/AS or BA/BS degree and one (1) year experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- HS and two (2) years' experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
Bachelor's or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar is preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Experience maintaining, designing, and/or developing BI solutions using QlikSense (experience with other BI tools may be considered).
Proficiency in Excel (experience with pivot tables, macros, VBA).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

Experience developing and executing SQL queries in Business Objects / TOAD / Cognos or similar BI tool.
Working knowledge of Qlik database development.
Active SECRET clearance.
