Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking Qlik Sense Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full Time (Regular) Exempt (Salary) hybrid position located in Patuxent River, MD 20670. Position will be mostly telework, however, the successful candidate may need to visit the customer site at Patuxent River, MD 20670 (St. Mary's County Maryland) one to three days per month.

ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense and occasionally other BI tools such as Tableau.
- Gather reporting, dashboard, and metric requirements from customers and stakeholders.
- Create web-based visualizations, dashboards, and reports for custom applications using JavaScript libraries like D3.js.
- Transform data structures to analyze and join data from multiple sources.
- Customize Qlik Sense Mashups using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Assist with technical and user documentation.
- Assist with evaluating IT tools/hardware and providing recommendations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:

- High School diploma or GED is required.
- BA/BS and three (3) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- AA/AS degree and seven (7) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- HS diploma/GED and nine (9) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar is preferred.
- Degrees must be from a US Department of Education accredited institution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

- Three (3) years’ experience designing and developing business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense.
- Experience creating web-based visualizations and reports using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience making REST API calls to pull data for transformation and visualizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

- Experience developing modern front-end applications using Node Package Manager (NPM), Webpack, and ReactJS.
- Experience with data transformation using Python.
- Experience with creating custom visualizations using D3.js.
- Experience using Git or TFS for source control.
- Experience in database design and development.
- Qlik Sense Certification(s).
- Active SECRET clearance.
