Business Relationship Management (BRM) Representative
Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking Business Relationship Management Representative to join our growing and diverse team of qualified individuals. This is a Full-Time (Regular), Exempt (Salary) position located in Patuxent River, MD 20670. Some telework will be allowed with approval, however, candidates will be expected to work on-site at Patuxent River, MD one day per week.
Join us in support of an exciting recent five-year contract award supporting Business Operations, Customer Portfolio Management, and Horizontal Integration in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) Department.
ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze, document, and coordinate the requirements, schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Will assist in the development of customer service agreements and tracking of customer performance data. Responsibilities include:
  • Support the Business Relationship Management Office (BRMO) Government Portfolio Managers and serve as customer advocate/liaison between the department and customers.
  • Stay abreast of all customer products and services (both technically and functionally) to effectively perform initial interviews with customers regarding their requirements.
  • Participate in the development of marketing materials regarding customer products and services and proactively seek ways to educate the customer community regarding how customer IT solutions can meet their business needs.
  • Register all new customer requests utilizing Service Management (SM) system.
  • Maintain customer profiles within the SM system.
  • Maintain end-to-end tracking of all customer requests for customer products and services.
  • Adhere, administer and facilitate implementation of the customer BRMO Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Support various customer staff to collaborate, define, prepare, and deploy Government-approved IT solutions that meet customer needs and are compliant with guidelines, regulations, policies, and instructions.
  • Support Government Portfolio Manager to facilitate master service agreements, to include cost details, for registered requirements in accordance with BRMO SOP.
  • Support internal training of BRMO processes and tools to customer personnel.
  • Provide support with briefs to various levels of customers.
  • Identify, conceptualize, evaluate and recommend opportunities for process, program and project improvements.
  • Support the collection of data and documentation for draft briefings, flowcharts, status reports, white papers, draft policies, etc.
  • Manage and maintain schedules, such as Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and project plans in support of DNA BRMO customer portfolios and BRMO mission.
  • Coordinate the review, workflow, and approval of BRMO documentation and packages.
  • Support Process Improvement requirements related to the Work Acceptance Process (WAP).
  • Monitor organizational projects, including updating status and reporting project metrics to government portfolio lead.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • AA/AS/BS/BA degree -OR- High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience performing work related to the roles/responsibilities above.
  • Degree in management or similar discipline preferred.
  • Degrees must be from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings.
  • US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start) or a Non-NISP investigation for local access.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with Ivanti ITSM.
  • Experience with ITSM within NAVAIR.
  • ITIL 4 Foundations Certification.
  • Active SECRET clearance.
