Director of School Strategy and Services (Inglewood Family Services)

This position is partially remote and you have the option to elect into a 9/80 flex work schedule. The pay range for this position is between $99,850 - $110,950 annually.

Summary

Under the supervision of the Division Director and VP of Whole Person Care, this position will be responsible for the coordination of school services, including development, operations oversite, and strategic planning.

Primary Duties

  • Develop and propose innovative approaches for enhancing existing school-based program.
  • Utilize data and research to inform the development of strategic plans for program enhancement.
  • Evaluate external funding options for school services and explore braided funding opportunities.
  • Assist with the coordination of school services across the agency.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with school-based partners to explore opportunities for program expansion.
  • Develop and sustain school-based program workflows and procedures.
  • Evaluate and monitor school-based data to inform Agency, Divisions and site programmatic decisions.
  • Manage and process internal/external data report requests.
  • Develop comprehensive tracking systems for monitoring various compliance aspects, such as TB tests, BBS/BOP registrations, and certificates of liability insurance.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of all Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and Service Delivery Applications (SDAs) with the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) for the Division.
  • Work directly with Organization Facilitators (OF) in each LAUSD ESC served regarding specific LAUSD protocols.
  • Coordinate and carry out the school-based Medi-Cal certification and re-certification processes.

Position Requirements

  • Preferred but not required depending on experience: Master's degree and licensed in Psychology, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy or possession of a teaching or pupil personnel services credential.
  • Experience working within a K-12 education setting or externally via contracted work or partnerships.
  • Equipped with the leadership skill set for program development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated creativity around providing outreach and engagement to specific populations resulting in an increase in service utilization.
  • Working knowledge of contracts and grants management.
  • Working knowledge of Agency policies and procedures, HIPAA, DMH, DHS, Department of Social Services and other state, federal regulations relating to mental health services.
  • Working knowledge of Special Education and of FERPA.
  • Ability to hold and navigate the interests of educational systems and our agency.
  • Ability to advise and assist school districts with mental and behavioral health programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to use analysis, experience, and judgment to make effective decisions.

  • Ability to adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Current California driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier.
