Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to increase sales success in the retail category.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited, to:

• Actively participate in the growth strategy of Dickey’s Retail Company.
• Maintain and mange current vendor relationships.
• Audit product in retail locations; ensure quality and quantity of product available.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers and sharing of product knowledge.
• Monitor sales performance of the retail locations; strategize and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Assess ROI for locations, items and promotions.
• Work closely with team to report and measure KPI goals and commitments.
• Influence and drive qualitative and quantitative execution against retail sales and depletion goals.
• Work directly with retail locations to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the contract period.
• Boost sales through various marketing campaigns and techniques.
• Research and stay on top of market trends.
• Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to ensure mutually positive partnerships.
• Negotiate placement deals.

Pre-requisites

• Charming and persuasive communication style necessary.
• Strong attention to detail necessary, project management experience a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience, ideally in the food industry.
• Marketing experience a plus.
• Sales experience a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
