Salary Range: Up to $165K (salary is commensurate with education and experience)

Provide support for customer networks involving cross-domain solutions, including VPNs, one-way data transfers, unclassified mission related infrastructures, and Taclane 175 encryption devices. Specific configurations include routing using MPLS/VPLS, OSPF, EIGRP at the Core and Distribution devices and switching at the Access devices; Configure and troubleshoot Cisco catalyst switches (Spanning Tree, Port Security, VTP,Ether channels, VLANs); Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ASR routers (including HSRP, OSPF, BGP, route-map; Configure/Troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewalls; Troubleshoot various DNS, SMTP, IP routing, latency, and connectivity issues; Implement TCP/IP & related services-DHCP/DNS; Install/Upgrade Cisco Switches and Firewalls (ASA) IOS using TFTP; Maintain all LAN/WAN connectivity; Document network problems and resolution for future reference; Oversee software and network security.

Technologies: Cisco: Routers, Switches and Firewalls, Linux Network troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, ssldump, curl, wget, tcp tracroute, opemssl etc.)

• Build/Update baseline images for deployment; Support Windows and Linux operating systems; Coordinate and manage desktop infrastructure transition and modernization;
• Support PC internals, network hardware, thin clients, software, and peripherals;
• Manage IT Inventory and coordinate infrastructure modernization for end-user support;
• Maintain directory services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and LDAP computer networking.
• Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation.
• Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.Experience Needed:
  • Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen
  • Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
  • Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
