Systems Engineer - L2

RBR-Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to support one of our customers in Maryland.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a system/software security engineer
• Proven experience in agile system/software development
• Software development experience in one of the following core languages: Java, Javascript, C/C , Go, Rust, Python
• Experience with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, and Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web-related protocols
• Good leadership, decision-making, and organization skills.
• Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• 14 years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 additional years SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• ​Detail​ed technical knowledge of techniques, standards, and state-of-the-art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities, and Remediation
• Experience profiling open standards ( IETF, W3C, etc. ) for specific security requirement
• Experience building and validating security mechanisms in software and systems
• Familiarity with Security Software Development Lifecycles
• Familiarity with FIPS and NIST 800 Series Security Requirements and Specifications
