Sales Support Administrator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned as required)

• Daily administration and support of Salesforce Sales cloud, including configuration updates to security, sharing rules, profiles, roles, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules
• Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
• Design and manage ongoing development of the system to meet the organization’s mission.
• Create and maintain documentation on processes and application configuration
• Identify system inefficiencies/gaps, troubleshoot operational issues and explore opportunities for updates
• Stay current on new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Overall database management including maintaining integrity of database and finding additional resources supplement existing database.
• Training new users on system fundamentals and Salesforce best practices
• Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Prior experience with Salesforce
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (in particular Excel)
• Creative, energetic, self-motivated and high producing
• Problem solving skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal customers, high-level staff and external vendors, strong customer service orientation, good writing skills, ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences
• Must be detail-oriented
• Data Entry, Administrative and Reporting Skills
