Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within our organization. This role requires a strong background in project management methodologies and technical expertise.
Duties:
- Lead the planning and implementation of engineering projects
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Manage project budget, track project performance, and report on progress
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans, and money spend
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Proven work experience as an Engineering Program Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Visio, and AWS services
- Understanding of PMBOK principles and SAFe framework
- Ability to analyze complex technical information effectively
