Detroit Recovery Project is Hiring a Certified Recovery Coach Near Detroit, MI

Who We Are:
As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, The Detroit Recovery Project Incorporated (DRP) strengthens, rebuilds, and empowers communities affected by drug and alcohol addiction and other under-served populations. DRP supports individuals in identifying and resolving barriers to achieving a healthy and productive drug-free lifestyle.
DRP is currently seeking both part-time and full-time Certified Recovery Coaches. The Certified Recovery Coaches will combine their lived experience with professional Best Practices to provide support to clients in various stages of the Recovery process. Group Facilitation is a plus for this role as the ideal candidate will be responsible for hosting support groups.
Who we're looking for:
We are currently seeking highly motivated Certified Recovery Coaches to serve all members in the community through support and coaching. This position will provide and maintain a supportive, hopeful, empathic, and engaging environment for individuals seeking help with substance use issues.
Qualifications:
  • At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals within the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or Behavioral Healthcare setting.
  • Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) certification through Michigan Certification Board of Professionals (MCBAP)
  • A valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver’s License
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Electronic Health/Medical Records Systems is a plus!
Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
