Job Summary: Design Outside is seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Landscape Architect. As a Landscape Architect, you will work alongside experienced professionals to design, plan, and oversee the development of outdoor spaces ranging from residential gardens to public parks to private institutional projects. Responsibilities:

• Assist senior landscape architects in the conceptualization and development of landscape design plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to conduct site analysis, including site inventory, assessment, and research.
• Contribute to the creation of design concepts, sketches, and renderings using various software tools and techniques.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design ideas and gather feedback.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of landscape projects.
• Conduct on-site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent and specifications.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and sustainable design principles to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
• Support marketing and business development efforts by assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Strong design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino).
• Knowledge of landscape design principles, plant materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for sustainable design practices and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
• Previous internship or relevant work experience in landscape architecture is desirable but not required.
• Eligibility for licensure as a Landscape Architect (L.A.) or willingness to pursue licensure in the future.
