Desert Preschool Academy is Hiring a Teacher Assistant Near Coachella, CA

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our team and help us ensure the happiness and well-being of our youngest students. The ideal candidate will have additional experience with children, possess a Child Development degree, 12 units in Early childhood Education. The ideal candidate will have experience and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment that is focused on education. We offer many benefits including comprehensive health, dental plans, and vision plan to ensure you have balance in your life.

Minimum Qualifications Requirement

Education: Must be enrolled in college and must have completed 6 college units in early childhood core classes.

Experience: Previous teaching assistant experience or experience working with children.

Personal Qualities: Need to be friendly and inviting. Need to adapt easily and enjoy learning.

TB Clearance/Physical

Fingerprinting Clearance

CPR/ First Aid Certification

Vaccines/ Flu Shot – Pertussis and measles

Responsibilities:

  • Make learning fun for our youngest students.
  • Help prepare young children for kindergarten.
  • Give kids a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Guide children with daily activities, from arts and crafts to promote a healthy and learning environment.
  • Be patient and understanding with children of all ages and backgrounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
