Site Supervisor
Experience in child care center setting. AA or BA in Early Childhood education. Site Supervisor Permit is required.
Objective: Under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring each site assigned meets program quality and is in compliance with State Department of Education, Title 5, Funding Terms and Conditions; Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing, Title 22; and Local, State, County, Fire, Building and Safety mandates.
Minimum Qualifications:
AA/AS/BA Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field with at least 24 ECE/CE child development semesters units including at least one class in each of the areas:
Child/human growth and development
Child, family and community, or child and family relations
Infant/Toddler Programs/ curriculum
Administration/Adult Supervision
Ability to plan and organize and supervise a preschool center
Ability to train and supervise a classroom assistant
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing; &
Obtain an active Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
Experience: in Providing direction, guidance, support to assigned staff. Knowledge in enrollment process and assures children are enrolled in accordance with state preschool policies and procedures. Knowledge/experience in preparing and submitting supply requisitions and maintains inventory of center supplies. Knowledgeable/Experience in making regular class observations for the purpose of strengthening the early childhood education provided to children while assuring developmentally appropriate practices.

Ability to bend, lift and carry. Full awareness of environmental stimuli. Full range of motion above the head. Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Must have a valid State of California driver’s license.
Strong computer proficiency especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills.
