Desert Oasis Healthcare is Hiring a NextGen Operations System Supervisor Near Palm Springs, CA
- Oversees and provides direct supervision and management of NextGen operational team to include, but not limited to, completing timely evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Monitors and supports the operational team by troubleshooting NextGen applications and identifying and documenting solutions.
- Develop enhancement requests, new workflows, and document enhancement requests from users.
- Provide feedback on intensive work orders or patterns that indicate an issue with the system or staff workflow.
- Proactively seek to identify and recommend opportunities to support the DOHC mission, vision, and goals through enhancements in the NextGen system.
- Leads both operational and non-technical aspects of upgrades including the development of training material, scheduling training sessions and monitoring the effectiveness of training.
- Creation and maintenance of policies and procedures impacting the NextGen department and users.
- Assist the Medical Director in the development and coordination of staff and provider communications for the promotion and creation of events regarding clinical quality outcomes.
- Prioritize, manage and guide EHR template integrity and functionality, including bug fixes and template performance as well as document development based on the standards and guidelines on documentation.
- Work and regularly communicate with the Medical Director to develop enhancement requests, new workflows, and document enhancement requests from users.
- Perform other duties as assigned including acting as a resource to IPA contracted providers.
- 1-3 years of progressive project development coordination.
- 1-3 years of administrative experience supporting a medical director, or similar position.
- Fluent in computer applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- BLS required within 60 days of employment
- Current drivers license and proof of insurance required.
- At the discretion of DOHC/FHC management, this position has the potential to be a full or hybrid telecommuting position.
