    Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to cover a leave for the HR Manager from approximately May - mid August 2024. These dates are inclusive of several weeks of training and overlap with the HR Manager and have some flexibility on the start.
    The HR Manager is a key member of the Human Resources office and provides critical support to the function of the department as well as excellent customer service to our district staff.
    Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in a school HR administrative or leadership role
    • Knowledge of school district functions and reporting requirements and procedures
    • Ability to work with Infinite Visions software with minimal support
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    Key Responsibilities:
    • FMLA requests
    • Extra duty/timesheets Personnel Report
    • IMRF enrollments and terminations
    • Verification of employment for TRS and IMRP
    • Substitute Report
    • IDES notices
    • Absence management system
    • Payroll folders
    • Offering classified positions and completing personnel records
    • New hire contracts
    • EIS reporting
    • Other duties as assigned
    District Information:
    District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
    Hours and Compensation:
    This is a temporary full time in person position compensated at 37.5 hours per week, M-F 8:00 pm - 4:00 pm. There may be some flexibility in hours.
    The rate of pay is $30 per hour.
