Derstine's Foodservice Distributors, a family owned business, located in Sellersville, PA, is the premier distributor of fresh and specialty foods and supplies to restaurants, institutions and consumers in Southeastern, PA. Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm - Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the face of our company at the front desk by servicing customers who come into the business to pick up orders
• Provide assistance for both retail & distribution customer orders
• Communicate and work with internal departments and individuals, including Sales, Finance, & Operations
• Create and edit sales quotations and sales orders
• Create and print customer invoices
• Create sales return authorizations
• Document and respond to customer complaints
• Document and follow up on new customer leads and sales opportunities
• Work with purchasing staff to manage & maintain product descriptions
• Other projects as deemed necessary by the management team

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience
• Knowledge and understanding of food service and food service distribution (preferred)
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP business software a plus
• Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen & background check)
• Will be required to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs
