We are a well-established dermatology practice looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We have a supportive work environment and team approach, with opportunities to learn in a newly renovated office suite. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a competitive benefits package.

The ideal candidate is looking for long-term employment, has strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, is detail-oriented, and comfortable with electronic medical records. Prior dermatology experience strongly preferred but not required. Career growth into a future leadership position possible.

The Medical Assistant will have extensive hands-on patient contact with the following duties, including but not limited to:

- take patient history and scribe for providers

- assist in surgery, minor procedures, cosmetics and general derm appts

- suture removal, wound checks and dressing changes

- patient triage, phone calls, prescriptions, letters

- patient education

- maintain logs, stock supplies and other medical administrative matters

- function as a collaborative member of a large and dynamic medical team
