Responsibilities:

The Patient Access Specialist (PAS) ensures a pleasant experience for patients and visitors. During the check-In process the PAS will obtain from the patient, demographic, financial and insurance information, required for billing and collecting patient accounts. Obtains all necessary patient consents/attestations. Coordinates the collection of all estimated patient liabilities, including co-payments/coinsurance and unmet deductibles. Responds to patient requests and answers questions regarding various services and account information. Analyzes and rectifies customer concerns using established procedures. Uses computer to access and/or update customer records. Verifies and posts transactions. Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc. Sorts and files various documents. Assists with general practice information and directions to departments within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be authorized to work in USA
  • Background check.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a desire to learn new skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working independently while remaining an integral part of the team.
  • Professional communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in USA.
  • Excellent attendance, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, effective communication skills and active listening skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
