Wright Flood - Nation's Largest Flood Insurance Company is Hiring a Human Resources Assistant Near Clearwater, FL

Wright Flood is looking for an HR Assistant to join its HR team! The HR Assistant assists the Sr. VP of TR and the Sr. HR Generalist with daily clerical and HR duties including but not limited to filing, scanning, and photocopying. This individual must exhibit and maintain confidentiality as well as adhere to the highest standard of ethical and professional behavior. The HR Assistant must be able to speak clearly and must demonstrate ability to provide courteous and professional service to internal and external customers. They must assist HR by providing prompt handling of all duties given and must have good organizational and time management skills integrated with excellent customer service and people skills. In addition, an HR Assistant must have a keen eye for detail, complimented with good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to use and exercise good judgment in decision making for accurately performing their daily duties.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

  • Accurately maintains and updates all HR Spreadsheets with team member information, as necessary.
  • Files papers and documents into appropriate team member files, as necessary.
  • Scans documents into ImageRight.
  • Maintains the integrity of the documents in ImageRight.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as needed.
  • Assists in preparing reports or various HR documents as needed.
  • Takes an active part in any HR Projects.
  • Assists the Sr. HR Generalist with team member questions as needed.
  • Assists Sr. HR Generalist with recruitment, payroll and most HR processes and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have the ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to change priorities when needed.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • This position requires accuracy and a sense of urgency with attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous HR and Payroll experience highly desired.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Must have an exceptional understanding of all Microsoft products (Excel, Word etc.)
  • Experience with MS Teams preferred.
  • This position is a hybrid position. Team member will be required to come into the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
