Department of the Army is Hiring a Program Manager with Security Clearance Near pentagon, VA

Duties * Manage the DoD Certification process in accordance with the Military Child Care Act. * Ensure that Youth Sponsorship programs meet legislative requirements. * Provide oversight of Child Development centers. * Coordinate with Reserve Component Child, Youth and School Support for oversight and policy development. * Provide the senior staff officer with insight and expertise on matters related to child, youth, school support and special needs education services. * Develop methods for improvement or propose changes to meet developing needs that support the agency goals and objectives. * Develop recommendations, conduct assessments, and identify program successes and shortfalls. * Develop strategies, direction, planning and oversight for the CYSS program. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * Obtain and Maintain Secret Security Clearance. * Temporary Travel Duty may be up to 5%. * One-year supervisory probationary period may be required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
