The Staff Services Analyst in Program VI will perform the work of average difficulty in a wide variety of technical and analytical assignments such as preparing reports and analyzing data. Based on data analysis, the SSA will provide recommendations to program leadership for development of program goals, objectives, and activities. The SSA will track and trend data that will be utilized to provide recommendations regarding program development, implementation, and evaluation and advise management on quality Improvement efforts within the program related to the care and treatment of forensic patients, staff development needs as well as risk management and safety concerns. The SSA will help ensure the program maintains compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, policies of the Hospital, DSH, and relevant governmental agencies such as Licensing and Joint Commission. The SSA will be cross trained to complete duties within the program office.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. This will include good spelling and grammar skills. The candidate must possess the ability to work effectively on the computer. This will include effective use of common computer programs such as Excel, Adobe, and Word. The candidate must have the ability to interact with others in a professional fashion, even when under time constraints and other pressures. The candidate must be able to create and maintain effective databases for the tracking and analysis of reports and other time sensitive documents/processes.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and must be highly reliable in regard to accuracy of work, time management, and consistent attendance.

Working Conditions
Patton is a forensic psychiatric hospital and was established in 1890 and opened in 1893. DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. The hospital does not accept voluntary admissions.
