As our IT Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• The oversight of all phases and aspects of project management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Organizing and managing information technology project work throughout various phases
• Following the Project Approval Lifecycle to produce quality information technology projects for DGS
• Performing risk assessment and scope management by applying project management principles
• Tracking project progress and mitigating problems to control deliverables while utilizing OnePlan or project management tools
• Ensuring adherence to project schedules and budget
• Participating in IT organization forums by attending educational workshops and networking
• Working on an exciting array of IT projects throughout the organization

Preferred skill and experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or closely related IT field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• 6 years IT Project Management experience
• Background managing IT infrastructure, commercial off the shelf (COTS) software or custom software development projects
• Experience performing project management disciplines to plan and manage IT Projects leveraging the Project Approval Lifecycle, California Project Management Framework, and Project Management Body of Knowledge.
