As the Reasonable Accommodation/FMLA Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:
· Provide consultation in complex requests to determine if DGS can accommodate essential job functions, ensuring compliance with SPB, CRD, and EEOC case law
· Provide consultation to employees, supervisors, and managers on sensitive cases
· Processing various leave requests, including FMLA, CFRA, CAT, PFL and POL, applying laws and regulations
· Providing Guidance in Leave Benefits and Rights

We are looking for someone who has:
· Experience and Knowledge of the Reasonable Accommodation Process
· Experience and Knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
· Experience and Knowledge working with Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
· Experience writing Policies and Procedures
· Dependable with excellent time management skills
· Ability to develop and conduct training
· Experience analyzing information, rules and regulations, and providing guidance
· Excellent verbal written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Ability to collaborate with multiple business areas in an effort to solve complex problems
· Ability to shift priorities, workloads, and work schedules to meet deadlines
· Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to make sound decisions and produce alternatives when feasible
· Creativity and willingness to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, and accuracy in performing tasks
