Dental Implant Center is Hiring a Dental Front Office Near Charleston, WV

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the front office, including maintenance of the records of patients, scheduling of patients, assist with accounts receivable, and maintaining appearance and order of dental office.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Reception Management

  • Open and close dental office according to office protocol.
  • Check the daily schedule for accuracy.
  • Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism.
  • Check for faxes and online doctor referrals.
  • Ensure that HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices Notice is on display.
  • Maintain a professional reception area; organize patient education materials, etc.

Patient Appointment Management

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice.
  • Check in patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating patient information.
  • Manage recall and inactive patients in system.
  • Oversee patient relations & handle patient complaints, with Doctor or Office Manager's indirect supervision.
  • Confirm appointments according to protocol.
  • Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time.
  • Collect payment from patients at the time of treatment.

Records Management

  • Gather and accurately record insurance information from patients.
  • See that records are stored securely and handled in compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
  • Accurately file patient information
  • Assist with tracking cases and referrals to and from other doctors.
  • Assist with insurance submissions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated and willing to work as a strong team member helping in other areas around the office when needed.
  • Willing and able to learn new concepts and adapt quickly.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Very friendly and approachable, likes to interact with patients and work in a team environment.
  • Pleasant phone communicator with top-notch customer service attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Previous scheduling in a dental or medical office strongly preferred.
  • Able to work M-TH with rotating Friday as needed.
  • Ability to begin work at 7:30 am and stay until last patient has left which can be anywhere between 5-6pm.
  • Highly organized and professional demeanor.
