Duties and Responsibilities:
· Directs restaurant operations with responsibility for guest service, brand standards execution, and employee training.
· Achieves controllable profit goals by overseeing labor and food controls and takes corrective action to achieve the desired result.
· Drives for results by planning and following a course of action despite obstacles, setbacks, resistance, or rejection. Does what is takes to complete a task.
· Develops hourly employees through company sponsored training programs, individual development plans, and assignments.
· Ensures all equipment and facilities are in compliance with company standards and takes corrective action when required.
· Attracts, hires, and retains the best hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and customer service standards.
· Team player that supports both the service and kitchen production with "hands-on" style and hard working to support our employees.
· Must be flexible to work late night hours as Denny's is open 24 hours a day
· Possess great hospitality and customer relations skills to guarantee maximum guest satisfaction and a quality work environment.
· Develops and executes the local store marketing plan to build relationships with civic, business, school, and professional organizations to drive sales and guest counts.
· All other tasks and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Qualifications Required:
· 2 years experience in restaurant management, additional operations and/or leadership experience strongly preferred.
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but an individual with a high school diploma or equivalent and a proven, successful operations background will be considered.
· Strong organization skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
· ServSafe certification preferred.
· Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective action steps.
· Places a value on diversity and shows respect for others.
· Disciplined and flexible with the ability to adjust to changing local market and restaurant conditions while properly balancing work and personal life.
· Solid financial and business acumen.
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
· Licensed to operate an automobile without hours of operations restrictions.
Physical Requirements:
· The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
· The ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
· Ability to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas.
