COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• To promote learning and growth of all students and create a safe and effective classroom environment with cultural proficiency. 
• Perform relevant professional tasks or duties as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or his designee.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Must hold appropriate MA DESE License.
• Successful classroom experience teaching social studies at a middle school desired.
• Experience and knowledge of current instructional strategies desired. 
• Familiarity with MA Curriculum Frameworks
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to colleagues and parents.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, teachers, parents, and administration.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
