Dennis Yarmouth Regional School District is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Near West Yarmouth, MA


COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans utilizing research-based behavior analytic interventions for students with and without disabilities, including emotional impairment, autism, and other disabilities. 
  • Develop skill acquisition plans/learning programs utilizing research-based behavior analytic interventions for students with and without disabilities, including emotional impairment, autism, and other disabilities. 
  • Develop skill based social skills groups utilizing research-based behavior analytic interventions for students with and without disabilities, including emotional impairment, autism, and other disabilities. 
  • Conduct observational and experimental functional behavior assessments with written reports. 
  • Conduct criterion-based assessments such as the VB-MAPP, AFLS and ABLLS with written reports. 
  • Create data management systems with accompanying visual analysis displays to track and display student targets/progress. 
  • Train staff (paraprofessionals, teachers, administrators and other service providers) on specific interventions and related procedures by utilizing a Behavior Skills Training model. 
  • Develop and lead group training on behavior analytic interventions and procedures. 
  • Consult teams in the development of behavior goals and objectives for IEPs and attend team meetings. 
  • Effectively collaborate with and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including but not limited to students, district and school personnel, and parents. 
  • Consult with parents and home-based providers to develop effective programming for students that will generalize across settings. 
  • Attend team meetings as necessary and requested. Maintain and keep required credentials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BCBA certification required 
  • A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field 
  • Experience working in a school setting 
  • Experience providing supervision to direct care staff 
  • Experience training staff individually and in large groups 
  • Working knowledge of special education regulations and IEP process 
  • At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. 
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
