DEMCO COMPANY is Hiring a Remote Business Development Executive (K-12 Educational Market)

We are enhancing our team to not only provide our customers with an excellent experience, but to aid them in an evolution in their spaces, technology and community engagement. Our philosophy is “to find solutions for our libraries and schools, not customers for our products”. We are looking to fill this remote position in Philadelphia. 

This role is responsible for:

  • Identifying new sales opportunities within K-12 school districts and public libraries
  • Developing furniture opportunities, with a secondary focus on the full portfolio of Demco products
  • Identifying key decision makers and opportunities by leveraging industry insight tools and by cultivating relationships with school leaders (i.e. Superintendent, Principal, Business Manager, Library Director), architects, associations, and education agencies
  • Developing leads and opportunities that will then be handed off to the Interiors Solutions Team and the Inside Sales Team. The Business Development Representative would continue to provide periodic support and guidance to assist in closing these opportunities.

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or equivalent work experience. Three to five years of proven success within territory is required. Ideal candidates will have strong relationships with the K-12 education markets. Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM required.
