This leader will direct a team of engineers responsible for the development of IoT products and solutions across the organization’s broad portfolio of products and brands. The ideal candidate has spent a considerable amount of time in embedded systems teams, has a hands-on approach to problem solving, and has delivered successful products in the consumer goods sector.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers in the development of IoT products and solutions, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to help them reach their full potential.
Drive innovation in digital systems design and architecture to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Partner and influence cross functional partners, to drive transformation in our existing process to account for digital requirements, ensuring we have high quality repeatable processes and systems.
Lead the development of our electronic systems, ensuring that they meet customer needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend new tools and methodologies to improve our development process.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

5 years of experience managing teams.
Strong understanding of hardware design and software development principles for digital systems.
Works actively across boundaries in a matrix structure and creates shared ownership.
A skilled problem solver works to understand root causes and develops sustainable solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and lead multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.
Proficient in structured software design, object-oriented design, data structures, problem solving, complexity analysis, clean coding techniques, and debugging.
Familiarity with Bluetooth, WiFi, Zigbee, Sensors, low power embedded design, IP protocols, serial interfaces, and Azure DevOps.
