Delos is seeking a QA Manager to lead all product quality assurance functions for cloud, web, and app products as well as IoT solutions.

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager with a deep understanding of QA best practices, who can lead a team, and collaborate with engineering, design, product management, and business stakeholders. This is a pivotal moment for Delos as we enter a growth phase with several new products coming to market. The QA Manager will need to balance day-to-day QA team operations while also formalizing more structured QA processes within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-team leadership to implement world-class QA operations that ensure every Delos product reflects our focus on excellence 
• Manage daily QA workflows of issue tracking and resolution across each product
• Coordinate activities of onshore and offshore QA test engineers
• Manage project assignments and training of individual QA team members
• Lead creation of product test plan documentation and individual test cases
• Engage in QA testing as an individual contributor as-needed
• Develop and implement QA best practices and service structure
• Evaluate and propose needed QA tools and infrastructure to business leadership
• Provide regular, proactive reporting to internal stakeholders around QA activities

Requisite Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as both QA test engineer and QA team lead or manager
• Adept at working with and managing internal and contracted test engineers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in working across product teams
• Previous experience testing IoT products with hardware and software components
• Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications
• Proficiency developing structured QA test and reporting procedures
• Adept at proactively engaging with stakeholders to develop QA plans
• Experience creating QA procedures for both software and hardware components
• Proficiency using JIRA, Confluence, Github and test management suites like Zephyr
• Familiarity with wired and wireless network setup, management, and troubleshooting
• Preferred: Experience with Thread, Zigbee, or similar mesh networking technologies
• Preferred: Experience in startup environments 

Location: Ability to work hybrid from our NYC office is strongly preferred. Fully remote will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Compensation: Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with prior experience. The salary is expected to be between $110,000 and $130,000 per year. Delos is committed to pay equity, and any offers extended will be contingent on a variety of factors including internal and external parity as well as the specific experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
