Pediatric Experience.
Will likely rotate schools in a given week to meet needs. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a nurse. Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information. May serve as a preceptor for clinical staff. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, and referrals. Works under close supervision. Coordination of Care a. Maintains accurate records including consents, annual updates b. Makes appropriate family contacts (verify consents, missing consent information) c. Accurately completes all required paperwork and activity reports in a timely manner, including work queues and referrals d. Supervises the maintenance of a safe, clean & efficient environment e. Prepares special reports as needed for contract deliverables f. Facilitates student access to the health center providers by scheduling, getting students and checking in g. Performs general clerical duties such as answering and appropriately directing telephone calls h. Schedules appointments i. Accurately enters registration by creating accounts, entering demographics, & verifying insurance j. Assist with achieving contract deliverables
