Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Duties: - Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them - Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned - Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using various tools - Use hand and power tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces - Apply curing agents or sealants to protect finished surfaces - Repair damaged concrete surfaces as needed - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Experience: - Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques - Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans - Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade - Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a construction environment Skills: - Drywall installation and repair - Construction estimating - Roofing installation or repair - Metal stud framing - Blueprint reading - Plastering or stucco application - Flooring installation (tile, carpet, etc.) - Welding or metal fabrication experience - Concrete forming and pouring - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
