Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring they are smooth, level, and visually appealing. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in various construction techniques and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment. Duties: - Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing them - Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, edging, and brooming to achieve desired texture and appearance - Use hand tools and power tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces - Install expansion joints and control joints to prevent cracking - Repair damaged concrete surfaces by patching or resurfacing - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Requirements: - Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role - Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to concrete finishing - Ability to read blueprints and interpret project specifications - Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work - Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Skills: - Construction estimating - Masonry - Tile laying - Trim carpentry - Hand tools - Hardscape - Drywall - Flooring installation - Mechanical knowledge - Welding We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
