Qualifications:Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Bilingual in English and Spanish written and oral communication
Preferred Requirement-Associate Degree in Office Systems Technology, Executive Secretarial Technology, Business Administration, Office Administration, Computer Information Systems and/or successful completion of all six parts of the examination for Certified Professional Secretaries administered by the Professional Secretaries International (PSI); or successful completion of the Associate Professional Certificate Option 1 or 2, as administered by the National Association of Educational Office Professionals, Professional Standards Program (PSP).
Proficient computer skills including experience with a variety of software programs to include Microsoft Word, Quicken, Excel, Access or other district approved programs.
Ability to coordinate workload to meet changing priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
Clean Criminal Background Check, TB test and child protection registry clearance must be completed prior to start of employment.
Primary Duties:Possesses the tact to deal amicably and effectively with people.
Prepares online correspondence, forms and reports.
Meets and greets visitors utilizing excellent customer service skills to ascerta.in the purpose of their visit/call and effectively resolve their inquiries.
May maintain a calendar and/or schedule for the supervisor or others. May be responsible for scheduling classrooms, coordinating meetings, etc...as necessary.
The employee may be responsible for assisting the administrator in preparing documentation, presentations, letters, etc....
