Continued growth and expansion have created the need for a Helper to join our fast-paced team in our Carolinas Territory. 

Essential Functions:

• Warehouse duties to include stocking, inventory, and delivery of construction materials such as weights, parts, and components to field personnel. 
• Communicate with Service Dept. on repair parts ordering process.
• Assist Marine Division parts ordering when needed.
• Visiting various suppliers to pick up material for delivery using pick lists generated by mechanics/ technicians.
• Operating elevators on construction sites for general contractors.
• Assisting on sites with clean up of materials.
• Operating company vehicles safely and following rules and regulations.
• Maintaining office, garage and warehouse areas of the Virginia Beach Branch, keeping work areas clean and organized.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Must be knowledgeable in construction materials
• Computer proficiency - MS Office products and internet
• Valid drivers license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Able to successfully complete fit for duty medical exam, able to lift heavy material, climb, walk, stand, stoop, fine manipulation, repetitive use of hand tools as needed
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings will be required to gain clearance for government sites
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule (4/ 10 hour days or 5/ 8 hour days depending on which division is receiving help, as well as workload) and ability to work overtime as needed

This position has good potential for growth and may lead to trade apprenticeship for a candidate demonstrating positive attitude and strong work ethic.
