To assist in the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure the guest have a great experience while dining. Perform duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager and assumes all managerial duties when the Manager is absent.

• Assist in overall supervision of the day/evening Lookout Bar and Eatery Staff.

• Communicate with Kitchen staff in regards to daily specials, house counts, reservations, guest concerns.

• Assign restaurant stations for AM/PM staff; map out reservations.

• Assign opening and closing duties for staff.

• Conduct pre-meal informational meeting with AM/PM staff.

• Assist with training of all new Lookout Bar and Eatery Staff.

• Monitor and enforce all state, local and property liquor regulations.

• Write weekly staffing schedule based on forecast house counts and group make-up.

• Assist with opening duties, checking tables for accurate settings, dimming of lights, etc.

• Monitor the flow of service and be proactive in the delivery of service needs.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the outlet to meet property and health standards.

• Communicate with guests to gauge their dining experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous supervisory or waitstaff experience necessary

• Obtain a City of Delavan Bartender's License

• Knowledge of Point of Sales (POS) systems

• Microsoft Word and Excel experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to wet, hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time on their feet.
