- Manage contractors and service completion.
- Oversee facilities maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee production maintenance and repairs.
- Supervision of employees.
- Knowledge of liquids/chemical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of pumps, liquid blending, pneumatics.
- 5 years’ experience in a liquids/chemical manufacturing environment.
- Ability to deal with regulatory authorities – FDA/EPA/DHS and other agencies.
- Well-versed in OSHA requirements and safety protocols, PPE.
- Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blue-prints, and procedural manuals.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Familiarity working in a union environment preferred.
- Minimum of an associates degree with a technical focus and 5-7 years of related experience in a production environment.
- Experience in supervising a team of maintenance mechanics.
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
- Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blue-prints, and procedural manuals.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Procurement software.
