A Medical Assistant plays a vital role in the field of dermatology. We are looking for someone ideally with experience in the field of Dermatology who loves working with people and can handle a sometimes faced paced clinic environment, and enjoys multitasking. We are looking for someone who can also work as a receptionist when needed and manage insurance eligibility and scheduling as well as perform MA work when needed.

Skills: Robust interpersonal and communication skills are needed as well as task flexibility tolerance. Experience with iOS systems as well as charting/ documentation skills required. Proficiency in medical terminology and experience as a scribe is necessary.

Education: High School Diploma and Medical Assistant Degree or prior in clinic training or experience required. Associate's Degree, College Graduate or experienced preferred.

Work Experience: Procedural medicine experience in fields of surgery or dermatology preferred but not mandatory for application. Minimum 1 year medical assisting experience or similar needed. Prefer those with prior HIPAA training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.75 - $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
