The Installation and Warehouse Specialist is responsible for planning and completing installation projects, coordinates with any subcontractors and outside vendors, and oversees the day to day functions of the warehouse.

Customer/Organizational Interface

• Responds to customer requests and determines scope of work; defines installation requirements based on customer’s request
• Interfaces with sales and project management throughout installation; communicates project status, cost, schedule adherence, changes of scope, problems and punch list items, and client satisfaction
• Provides installation technical consultation to client

Installation Planning

• Visits site; performs field measurements as required
• Inventories existing product, as required
• Secures installation plans and documentation; reviews them for completeness, accuracy and definitive scope of work information
• Develops installation work plan, schedule and logistics based on overall project parameters, project schedule and scope, and customer’s goals
• Solicits installation estimates or provides estimate him/herself; solicits quotes, selects vendor, provides all contractual arrangements, and supervises any subcontractors on project
• Reviews work plans, drawings and installation requirements with lead installer prior to installation beginning
• Attends project meetings and communicates project information to sales person and project coordinator
• Schedules and completes installation

Punch List/Installation Close-Out

• Develops punch list, ensures that product is ordered and follows-up on timely punch list resolution
• Monitors actual to estimated hours; reports final numbers to appropriate parties
• Manage Try-A-Chair program for Southern Utah

Receiving, Storage and Reloading for Warehouse:

• Manages receipt of all product, including verifying box count, packing slip counts and inspecting for freight damage
• Identifies product received and pull work order paperwork as appropriate; matches product received to purchase orders
• Communicates product receipt to sales, sales support, project management and dispatch on a daily basis
• Manages the staging of product in warehouse, noting location on receiving paperwork; provides tags to all stored product for easy identification
• Ensures all product is handled in professional manner, minimizing damage or potential damage by others
• Is responsible for accurate product pulls for all shipments out of warehouse, ensuring that product is protected and vehicles are properly packed
• If appropriate to the dealership, securely loads product into trucks in delivery or installation sequence; ensures proper equipment and tools are on trucks per work order/dispatching documentation

Warehouse Organization:

• Maintains warehouse in clean, neat and highly organized manner, including all stored product, supplies, equipment, parts, vehicles, etc.
• Ensures security of warehouse at all times, including establishment of security procedures and instructions for those that access the warehouse
• Ensures that physical condition of warehouse is adequate, including roof, doors, utilities, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, etc.
• Ensures that hazardous materials are properly stored and secure

Warehouse Organization:

• Maintains warehouse in clean, neat and highly organized manner, including all stored product, supplies, equipment, parts, vehicles, etc.
• Ensures security of warehouse at all times, including establishment of security procedures and instructions for warehouse crew and use by installation field crew
• Ensures that physical condition of warehouse is adequate, including roof, doors, utilities, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, etc.
• Ensures that hazardous materials are properly stored and secure
