Job Overview:

Mountain Toppers sells and installs vehicle accessories such as camper shells, hitches, trailer wiring, running boards, and folding bed covers. Mountain Toppers is also a trailer and U-Haul dealer. We are seeking an Installation Technician to help the shop out. The ideal candidate will be a good problem solver, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy learning new skills. In the past, college students studying engineering have had success at this job. The owner cares about education and will give time off to study.

Responsibilities:

- Install and wire camper shells

- Install trailer hitches including turnover 5th wheel hitches

- Install and repair trailer wiring

- Install running boards

- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems

- Help maintain the shop and keep it clean

- Assist U-Haul customers

Preferred Experience:

- All key responsibilities will be taught during the training period

- Previous experience with hand tools and power tools

- Basic knowledge about 12 Volt systems

- Knowledge about trailers

- Ability to detect issues and troubleshoot effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
