Here’s the scoop - Summary

This is a tremendous opportunity for a deeply experienced HR leader to make a significant contribution to the success of a highly respected global brand by enhancing their ability to attract, develop, and retain exceptional people.

Reporting to the VP of People & Organization, the P&O Manager will provide human resources leadership for teams across North America. You will implement programs and processes to develop a high-performance team culture.

The P&O Manager works a hybrid schedule both from home and out of our office in Boulder, CO.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Be a trusted HR partner to Champion’s leaders and employees across North America.
  • Develop and lead change management initiatives to support transformation and growth.
  • Design and execute recruitment and sourcing strategies to meet the hiring needs of our operations.
  • Lead facilitation of training, education, employee communications, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support a consistent, one-team unified approach demonstrated by delivering global HR principles, practices, and policies.
  • Work closely with leaders and employees to improve working relationships, build engagement, increase productivity, manage performance, and attract and retain talent.
  • Ensure HR strategy is cascaded and integrated into business and workforce plans.
  • Provide performance management guidance to management and employees (coaching and mentoring, career development, feedback, disciplinary actions, crisis relations).
  • Analyze trends/metrics to identify problems and develop relevant HR solutions, programs, and policies for the assigned business.
  • Understand legal requirements at the execution level related to the management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years experience supporting a global workforce including a combination of experience in talent management strategy and execution in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
  • You have designed, developed, and scaled a variety of talent management practices, such as performance management, career development programs, and succession planning.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performance teams.
  • Strong expertise in creating HR processes, practices, and policies to support a transformational, high-growth organization.
  • Experience partnering at all levels of the organization to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex HR challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including change management, facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and work to plan.
  • Action-oriented and has a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Highly proficient in analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • High integrity with strong customer focus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range:Target pay range for this position is $90,000-130,000 USD annually, however base pay offered may vary depending on job related experience and skills. This information is based on anticipated market location (Boulder, CO)
  • Annual Incentive Eligibility:This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan. Awards are based on the achievement of both individual objectives as well as company objectives.
  • Benefits:This position is eligible for medical, dental, 401k benefits, and annual vacation.
